Mahmoud Mahfouz has over 10 years of Mechanical Engineering design, including 3D CAD (DfAM), mechanical systems, technology assessment/development, failure analysis, and drafting of Engineering specifications. His experience also encompasses 5 years of product development using additive manufacturing (3D printing) for prototyping and end use parts. He has been involved in projects ranging from applied research, mechanical system design, failure analysis, and full-scale experimental testing.
Mahmoud holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with distinction from the University of Alberta and has his professional accreditation with The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). He is currently completing his Masters of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering with a specialization in Energy and the Environment degree focused on fluid mechanics at the University of Calgary.
