The digitalization of manufacturing is changing how products are designed, fabricated, operated and serviced. Whether this industrial transformation is called “Industry 4.0”, “Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)” or “smart manufacturing”, these new technologies enable the generation and flow of information to improve product design, production efficiency and equipment servicing.
This workshop aims to raise the awareness of these technologies with Albertan manufacturing companies. The two-day event will encompass a series of presentations and equipment demonstrations that will show how digital manufacturing technologies can save time and reduce costs while enhancing product and service quality.
